Bookish people will get a pretty good idea of who I am by my books in LibraryThing. I know I can tell a lot about a person by what they choose to read, and especially the books they choose to buy. Is that judging a book by its cover, do you think?
The other things that fill my life, apart from books, are: my dear husband, my dear daughter, my cat.
Gardening is my other main interest, with a particular passion for clematis and daylilies, grasses and woodland plants of various types. My gardening passion led to digital photography as a hobby, which also comes in handy with my predilection for travel. I have lived on 3 continents in just over 3 decades, and travelled to most of the others.
I am currently employed by a large computer company. I am a School Governor at my daughter’s Primary School. I hate housework. And I dream of being a librarian someday.
